Own the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch iteration, for a new digital literacy platform designed specifically for educators
Apply lean methodologies to quickly test assumptions, iterate on product features, and build an MVP based on user need and feedback
Research, evaluate, and integrate AI tools and technologies to create adaptive and personalized professional development pathways for educators
Analyze and assess potential revenue streams and business models to ensure long-term sustainability and scalability
Conduct user research with educators to gather insights, define product requirements, and ensure the product is intuitive and effective
Work collaboratively with the CEO, programs team, and external partners to align product goals with organizational mission and pedagogical best practices
Manage relationships with external web development agencies to ensure successful product build-out
Develop a product strategy focused on broad adoption to reach a wider audience of educators across Canada
Report directly to the CEO
Requirements
3-5 years of experience in product management, product development, or a similar role
Experience working in a lean start-up environment is a significant asset
A degree and/or diploma in computer science, business, education, or a related field
Hands-on experience working with AI tools and APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, LangChain)
Web development understanding
Experience in EdTech or not-for-profit sector is a bonus
Proven ability to understand a product vision, assess market opportunities, and explore new business models
Innovator mindset with a "build fast, test, iterate" attitude
Ability to leverage automation, personalization, and generative AI to enhance user experience
Deep understanding of the needs and challenges of youth educators
Deep understanding of user journey with experience optimizing flows and UX
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to translate ambiguous ideas into tangible, functional digital tools
