About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the organization's financial records and reports in compliance with U.S. GAAP
Manage full-cycle accounts payable, payroll, and the month-end close process for the U.S. entity
Support global financial reporting and interact closely with Global Finance, HR, and Operations teams
Oversee the end-to-end employee cash advance and expense reimbursement cycle
Execute semi-monthly U.S. payroll and ensure compliance with all state payroll taxes
Support the preparation and review of journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet account analysis
Assist in the annual and mid-year budgeting process

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
At least 5 years of relevant accounting work experience
At least 2 years of experience in month-end close and payroll management
Proficiency in SAGE Intacct and Google sheets preferred
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and nonprofit accounting principles
CPA or CMA candidate preferred
Global experience supporting international field offices or working across multiple time zones and cultures
