About the role
- Lead discussions on architectural solutions and determine the best approaches to solve problems, ensuring scalability and efficiency
- Design, implement, and manage all Kubernetes clusters for our SaaS cloud platform.
- Collaborate with DevOps and software engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with Kubernetes environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Kubernetes networking and general computer networks.
- Develop automation scripts and tools for deploying and managing Kubernetes networking and traditional cloud infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other cloud engineers and DevOps team members.
- Work with cross-functional teams to expand our platform solutions portfolio.
Requirements
- Expertise in cloud platform engineering using Kubernetes.
- Strong information security and Linux system administration fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as containerd and Docker.
- Experience with computer networks — load balancers, TCP, VPNs, routing, virtual networks, MPLS, firewalls.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
