Technical Lead

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical leadership and assurance across AI model development, data pipelines and deployment environments
- Translate operational challenges into clear technical requirements and solution designs
- Oversee end-to-end architecture covering data ingestion, model training, validation and deployment
- Ensure alignment and coherence across multiple suppliers, teams and technology workstreams
- Identify, manage and escalate technical risks, assumptions and dependencies
- Review and assure the quality, robustness and completeness of all technical deliverables
- Act as the primary technical interface between stakeholders, delivery teams and suppliers
- Support development, testing and validation of AI/ML models across defined use cases
- Enable structured evaluation, benchmarking and comparison of technical approaches
- Contribute to the development of scalable, repeatable AI delivery patterns
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong experience leading AI/ML model development and delivery
- Experience working in secure, regulated or complex environments
- Proven background in data pipelines, model training workflows and deployment architectures
- Familiarity with high-volume, complex data sets and analytical environments
- Experience operating in multi-supplier or multi-team delivery settings
- Strong understanding of technical governance, assurance and risk management
- Ability to translate business or operational problems into technical solutions
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
