About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical leadership and assurance across AI model development, data pipelines and deployment environments
Translate operational challenges into clear technical requirements and solution designs
Oversee end-to-end architecture covering data ingestion, model training, validation and deployment
Ensure alignment and coherence across multiple suppliers, teams and technology workstreams
Identify, manage and escalate technical risks, assumptions and dependencies
Review and assure the quality, robustness and completeness of all technical deliverables
Act as the primary technical interface between stakeholders, delivery teams and suppliers
Support development, testing and validation of AI/ML models across defined use cases
Enable structured evaluation, benchmarking and comparison of technical approaches
Contribute to the development of scalable, repeatable AI delivery patterns

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience leading AI/ML model development and delivery
Experience working in secure, regulated or complex environments
Proven background in data pipelines, model training workflows and deployment architectures
Familiarity with high-volume, complex data sets and analytical environments
Experience operating in multi-supplier or multi-team delivery settings
Strong understanding of technical governance, assurance and risk management
Ability to translate business or operational problems into technical solutions
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
