About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You oversee the operation of the virtual power plants we operate
- Define technical and site requirements for the integration of PV systems, wind turbines, battery storage and other controllable systems
- Integrate new assets into our customers' processes
- Configure the virtual power plants
- Provide support to our customers to achieve optimal market results
- Assist in preparing control hardware for integration, especially in wind turbines and battery storage
- Analyze data in the event of technical malfunctions of assets to identify weaknesses
- Analyze data to improve market potential and performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed engineering degree (Master's or Bachelor's) or technical training with a background in mechatronics, automation engineering, or electrical engineering
- You are motivated by responsible tasks; you work cooperatively in a team but also take initiative independently
- You enjoy having room to shape your work and act responsibly and reliably
- Structured, with the necessary level of analytical thinking
- Affinity for working with IT tools (e.g., Git, Microsoft Office, GitLab, ticketing systems such as ZOHO Desk, Markdown)
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Optional: knowledge of Python or an affinity for programming
- Optional: knowledge of the energy sector is helpful for your tasks
