About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Technical leadership and architectural oversight for web and WebGIS projects
- Development of ArcGIS-based applications (custom apps, Experience Builder widgets, dashboards)
- Close collaboration with clients, partners, and the Director of Professional Services
- Leading, coaching, and developing a team of developers
- Ensuring code quality, best practices, and technical excellence
- Active contribution to our product strategy and technical roadmaps
- Hands-on implementation to maintain close contact with the code
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
- Solid skills in HTML/CSS
- Experience with REST APIs & JSON
- Practical experience with the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript
- Experience with React
- Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 / SAML
- Basic SQL knowledge and understanding of database schemas/models
- Interest in software architectures — focus on the overall architecture rather than low-level design
- Experience with agile project approaches (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, …)
- DevOps & infrastructure experience with CI/CD and DevOps processes
- Basic knowledge of cloud environments, Kubernetes, and networking (DNS, load balancers, proxies)
