About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Technical leadership and architectural oversight for web and WebGIS projects
Development of ArcGIS-based applications (custom apps, Experience Builder widgets, dashboards)
Close collaboration with clients, partners, and the Director of Professional Services
Leading, coaching, and developing a team of developers
Ensuring code quality, best practices, and technical excellence
Active contribution to our product strategy and technical roadmaps
Hands-on implementation to maintain close contact with the code

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
Solid skills in HTML/CSS
Experience with REST APIs & JSON
Practical experience with the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript
Experience with React
Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 / SAML
Basic SQL knowledge and understanding of database schemas/models
Interest in software architectures — focus on the overall architecture rather than low-level design
Experience with agile project approaches (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, …)
DevOps & infrastructure experience with CI/CD and DevOps processes
Basic knowledge of cloud environments, Kubernetes, and networking (DNS, load balancers, proxies)
