About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You analyze transaction data and identify anomalies and potential fraud patterns.
- You develop, optimize and evaluate fraud rules, taking into account risk and cost-effectiveness.
- You conduct analyses on the performance of fraud measures (e.g., hit rates, false positives) and derive concrete improvements.
- You contribute to the development and automation of fraud detection processes.
- You work closely with internal stakeholders from IT, Operations and business units and actively share your expertise.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed education (apprenticeship, technical college/HTL, university of applied sciences/FH, university) with a focus on business, technical or analytical subjects, or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in data analysis, ideally in payments or in a fraud environment.
- Excellent SQL skills and confident handling of large datasets.
- Analytical mindset and a structured, independent way of working.
- Understanding of payment processes and an interest in fraud prevention.
- Very good German and English skills and clear communication abilities.
