About the role
- Pedagogical care — supporting and accompanying male children and adolescents according to their individual needs
- Design and implementation of the pedagogical concept and coordination of services
- Building professional relationships with the children and their families
- Close cooperation with clinics, therapists, youth welfare offices and schools
- Participation in conceptual development and team development
Requirements
- Educational qualification: e.g., qualified educator (Erzieher), curative education nurse (Heilerziehungspfleger), or a degree in social work, social pedagogy or equivalent
- Experience in the residential (inpatient) sector, especially with traumatized children and adolescents
- Willingness to work shift patterns including 24-hour shifts and to take on responsibility
- Clear communication and a professional demeanor within the team and when interacting with external agencies
- Familiarity with documentation and reporting
