About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administration and support of Citrix environments and application delivery
Setup, management and optimization of our virtual infrastructure
Monitoring and maintenance of data center hardware to ensure smooth and secure operations
Administration and optimization of storage solutions, data backup and data availability
Operation and maintenance of Windows and Linux servers, including troubleshooting
Operation, monitoring and maintenance of the database infrastructure
Setup, monitoring and further development of a centralized monitoring system for performance and system analysis
Planning and execution of data backup and recovery measures to protect company data

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed vocational training or degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
Strong knowledge of Citrix, Terminal Services and centralized monitoring
Practical experience with VMware and virtualization technologies
Experience operating and managing data centers as well as server and storage systems
Experience with databases and backup solutions
Team player with strong communication skills
