About the role
- Lead a residential group with professional and managerial oversight
- Personnel responsibility for 6–8 staff members (recruitment, hiring, staff support and development)
- Prepare duty rosters and vacation planning
- Facilitate and organize weekly team meetings and off-site planning sessions
- Responsible for the pedagogical placement, design and structuring of the facility and for steering the organizational development process in coordination with the area management
- Implement care plans, service agreements and measures in cooperation with funding agencies
- Provide pedagogical counselling and care services within the facility
- Enjoy and be willing to participate in day and night shifts in the group
Requirements
- You actively contribute and want to make a difference with your ideas
- Completed training as an educator (Erzieher/in) or curative education nurse (Heilerziehungspfleger/in) with state recognition, or a completed degree in social work/social pedagogy/special education/early childhood education or a comparable qualification with state recognition
- Enjoy leading and further developing the facility and its staff
- Competence in team building and team leadership
- Confident presence and negotiation skills
- Empathy, motivation, resilience in crisis situations and a sense of humor
- You appreciate the freedoms and advantages of shift work (flexible duty roster concept)
- Class B driving licence (for use of the company vehicle during working hours)
- Good knowledge of common Office programs
