About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage client, team, and project coordination across multiple project aspects
- Coordinate full documentation to meet program, design, and schedule expectations
- Manage communication among project teams, clients, vendors, contractors, and consultants
- Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions for complex technical and design challenges
- Advocate for accurate and descriptive technical documents
- Maintain existing client relationships and build new client relationships
- Manage development of project manuals and specifications
- Conduct on-site observations and document site reviews
- Process submittals, RFIs, substitution requests, and related construction documentation
- Interface with building and permitting officials during permitting and construction phases
Requirements
What you’ll need- 12+ years of relevant experience as a technical interiors project architect
- Relevant experience on healthcare-specific projects
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture or related field required
- Licensed or registered architect preferred
- Strong knowledge of building design and construction
- Working knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures
- Experience with project delivery methods such as design-bid-build, design-build, design-assist, and IPD
- Experience maintaining and developing client relationships
- Strong organizational, communication, prioritization, and relationship management skills
- Experience managing multiple deadlines
- Revit proficiency mandatory
- AutoCAD proficiency mandatory
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu, SketchUp, 3dMax, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office
- Unrestricted right to work in the United States
