Key responsibilities & impact

Lead all phases of design with high creativity and expertise
Initiate and develop detailed design concepts, functional requirements, and project-specific criteria
Apply deep knowledge of the architectural process
Lead interior design efforts and project teams
Use strong graphic storytelling to pitch ideas
Participate in marketing efforts and lead design presentations
Prepare high-quality client presentation packages
Review design documentation for accuracy, legibility, and compliance
Lead team design reviews and brainstorming sessions
Communicate effectively to motivate teams and mentor junior staff
Keep clients, partners, and consultants aligned throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

What you’ll need

12+ years of commercial interior design experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design and/or Architecture from an accredited design school
Advanced knowledge of all interior design phases of corporate projects
Ability to participate in construction administration of projects
Space planning, concept development, finish selection, and specification skills
Conceptual sketching ability; experience with Photoshop, SketchUp or Illustrator highly desirable
Excellent presentation skills and ability to manage multiple projects
Working knowledge and application of building codes
CCIDC / NCIDQ Certification a plus
Proficiency in Autodesk Building Design Suite/Revit
