About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive operational excellence, compliance, maintenance performance and continuous improvement across a portfolio of retail assets.
- Lead key operational initiatives and partner with Centre teams and support functions to deliver portfolio priorities.
- Coach, develop and inspire a team of Operations professionals, building capability and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Champion safety, risk management and regulatory compliance, ensuring assets operate to the highest standards.
- Oversee operational and capital budgets, business planning and asset improvement initiatives to optimise performance, resilience and sustainability.
- Develop strong partnerships with stakeholders, contractors, retailers and service providers to deliver outstanding operational outcomes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Significant experience leading property operations, facilities management or retail assets within a large-scale retail, commercial or mixed-use environment.
- Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders and drive operational excellence across complex assets or portfolios.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets, contracts, capital works and operational projects.
- Sound understanding of safety, risk, compliance and building operations.
- A collaborative and adaptable leader who can balance competing priorities, make sound decisions and build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Passion for driving value, challenging the status quo and delivering sustainable, customer-focused outcomes.
