About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and maintain production backend services and APIs in Python (FastAPI)
- Implement retrieval workflows (RAG, embeddings, vector search)
- Lead and work closely with other engineers and stakeholders
- Help keep systems clean, reliable, and easy to extend
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven software engineering fundamentals
- 5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Exceptional command of the Python language
- Exceptional command of FastAPI and related topics
- Good command of PostgreSQL DB
- Good command of Docker
- Familiarity with retrieval workflows (RAG) and embedding-based search
- Experience with Natural Language Processing is a plus
- Fluent proficiency in English
