About the role

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Implement and maintain containerization solutions using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Develop and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and Ansible
  • Write and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks
  • Configure and manage monitoring and logging systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve code quality and deployment processes
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot production issues
  • Implement and maintain security best practices across the infrastructure
  • Stay up to date with the latest DevOps trends and technologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and principles
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their associated services
  • Experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes
  • Expertise with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
  • Scripting skills in languages like Python and Bash
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience working with or alongside nearshore development teams
  • Authorization to work in Portugal or within the European Union
