About the role
- As a DevOps Engineer Kubernetes (m/f/d) at Devoteam Innovative Tech, you are the subject-matter expert for designing and building Kubernetes platforms in our client projects.
- You are responsible for implementing Kubernetes and GitOps solutions in our client projects.
- You support Kubernetes projects across design and architecture, through implementation and porting of applications to the platform, up to handing the solution over into operations.
- With your expertise you provide advisory services on solution architecture, platform and tool selection.
- You work in interdisciplinary teams and actively contribute your ideas to design, consulting and implementation of concepts.
- You tackle topics proactively, make use of creative freedom and support your colleagues.
Requirements
- A completed university degree in computer science or a related field
- At least three years of experience as a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer
- Several years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, GitOps and related tools
- You are passionate about technology and innovation, embrace the DevOps philosophy and are familiar with its models, principles & best practices
- High degree of initiative and strong teamwork skills
- Openness to new topics, technologies and solutions
- Analytical skills
