About the role

  • In work area WP3, comprehensive and far-reaching enhancements of our securities platform are being carried out to build a hybrid architecture in the medium term that is scalable, high-performance and production-ready.
  • Applications in our cross-cutting domain Backbone & Integration Services will be migrated in the medium to long term to a future-proof, microservices-based technology stack.
  • Join our cross-functional team at the Frankfurt or Düsseldorf location and help us take end-to-end responsibility for our applications, further develop them successfully and migrate them to the new technology stack.
  • As an application developer in dwpbank's hybrid model, you will be involved in the (further) development and maintenance of our applications and support the migration of applications to the new technical platform or to the AWS Cloud.
  • You will work together in the agile team on the professional development of high-quality software components across the entire software lifecycle.
  • In this role you are not only a pure application developer but also act as an advisor and solution-oriented partner to the business units and our development colleagues at the subsidiary dwp Software Kft.
  • If required, you will also take on necessary on-call duties. These are discussed in advance within the team and shared on a rotating basis.

Requirements

  • You have several years of successful experience in application development.
  • You have good knowledge of some of the following technologies and methods: Java, the Spring ecosystem, interface technologies (REST, SOAP, Kafka), PostgreSQL or equivalent, cloud technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes), Angular.
  • You have extensive experience with various software development approaches and are very familiar with (agile) project methodologies.
  • You speak fluent German (C1) and have good English skills (B2).
  • With your commitment and communication skills, you can convey topics clearly and transparently and help foster team cohesion.
  • Continuous learning and knowledge transfer within the team are natural to you.
