About the role
- Analyze and automate data: You will analyze data processing workflows in our systems (including Abacus360), develop robust data storage concepts, and drive the automation of relevant data flows.
- Ensure data quality: By identifying data quality issues early, you initiate appropriate corrective actions and track their implementation in a structured and reliable manner.
- Support projects: You actively contribute to SAP HANA and other cross-functional projects and independently take on tasks to further develop the reporting function.
- Design processes & ICS: You design, implement, and optimize reporting processes for the dwpbank group, develop IT concepts and maintain an internal control system (ICS) to manage data flows transparently and audit-proof.
- Take system responsibility: When data flows, systems or regulatory requirements change, you perform functional and regression tests and own specifications for the further development and connection of technical interfaces.
- Prepare reports: You independently prepare group reports for supervisory authorities and DZ Bank, ensuring high quality through plausibility checks and data analysis.
- Regulation & expert assessment: Based on thorough analyses, you implement regulatory changes, handle ad-hoc supervisory requests and prepare presentations, position papers and decision papers for the Management Board and committees.
- Coordinate audits: You coordinate internal and external audits, respond reliably to audit inquiries and act as a competent point of contact and advisor to our operational units and subsidiaries.
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in the financial sector
- Solid understanding of technical procedures and the interdependencies in data processing workflows
- Knowledge of the regulatory environment is an advantage
- Proficient user of Abacus360 Banking
- Strong database skills — preferably with SAP
- Familiarity with national and international supervisory regulatory frameworks, in particular the German Banking Act (KWG) and the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR)
- Confident communication in German (C1) and good English skills (B2)
