About the role
- In the WP3 area, extensive and far-reaching further development of our securities platform is being carried out to build a hybrid architecture in the medium term that is scalable, high-performing and production-ready.
- Applications in our cross-cutting Backbone & Integration Services domain will be migrated in the medium to long term to a future-proof, microservices-based technology stack.
- Join our cross-functional team located in Frankfurt or Düsseldorf and help us take end-to-end responsibility for our applications, further develop them successfully and migrate them to the new technology stack.
- You will work closely with our clients and external service providers.
- As an application developer in dwpbank’s hybrid model, you will be (further) developing and maintaining our applications and supporting the migration of applications to the new technical platform or to the AWS Cloud.
- You will collaborate in an agile team on the professional development of high-quality software components across the entire software lifecycle.
- You will not only act as an application developer but will also provide consulting and solution-oriented support to the business units and our development colleagues at the subsidiary dwp Software Kft.
- If required, you will also take on necessary on-call duties. These are discussed within the team in advance and shared on a rotating basis.
Requirements
- You have successfully worked in application development for several years.
- You have good knowledge of several of the following technologies and methods: Java, the Spring ecosystem.
- Interface technologies (REST, SOAP, Kafka).
- PostgreSQL or comparable databases.
- Cloud technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
- Angular.
- You have extensive experience with different software development approaches and are familiar with (agile) project methods.
- You speak fluent German (C1) and have good English skills (B2).
- With your commitment and communication skills, you are able to present topics clearly and transparently and promote team cohesion.
- Continuous learning and knowledge transfer within the team are natural to you.
