About the role
- In the WP3 area, we carry out comprehensive, far-reaching enhancements to our securities platform.
- Applications in our cross-cutting domain Backbone & Integration Services are being migrated in the medium to long term to a future-proof, microservices-based technology stack.
- Join our cross-functional team at our Frankfurt or Düsseldorf location and help us take end-to-end responsibility for our applications.
- As an application developer, you will work in dwpbank’s hybrid model on the (further) development and maintenance of our applications and support the migration of applications to the new technical platform or to the AWS Cloud.
- You will work together in an agile team on the professional development of high-quality software components across the entire software lifecycle.
- In this role you will not only be a pure application developer but will also advise business units and our development colleagues at the subsidiary dwp Software Kft.
- If required, you will also take on necessary on-call duties.
Requirements
- You have several years of successful experience in application development.
- You have good knowledge of some of the following technologies and methods: Java, the Spring ecosystem, Angular, interface technologies (REST, SOAP, Kafka), PostgreSQL or equivalent, and cloud technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- You have experience with various software development approaches and are well familiar with (agile) project methodologies.
- You speak fluent German (C1) and have good English skills (B2).
- With your commitment and communication skills you can convey topics clearly and transparently and promote team cohesion.
- Continuous learning and knowledge transfer within the team are a matter of course for you.
