About the role

  • Responsible for the architecture of our microservices — from conception to implementation
  • Develop guidelines and solution patterns for cloud-based applications
  • Ensure efficient and resilient platform operations
  • Analyze and evaluate applications for efficiency and resilience
  • Conduct reviews regarding architectural and design specifications
  • Provide advisory support to other teams and stakeholders
  • Promote knowledge transfer within and across teams
  • Occasional business travel to other locations to strengthen team cohesion

Requirements

  • Degree or vocational training with a focus on computer science or an equivalent qualification
  • Extensive experience in developing and architecting complex enterprise applications and microservices
  • Strong understanding of architecture patterns (Event-Driven Architecture, Domain-Driven Design)
  • Familiar with agile project work
  • Excellent knowledge of Java and development of Spring Boot applications with Kafka
  • Experience with REST / SOAP / MQ, Oracle / PostgreSQL, Angular, TypeScript, container and cloud technologies (especially Kubernetes), test automation (Gauge), and GitOps
  • Very good language skills in German (C1) and English
