About the role

  • Operate and further develop the AWS-based platform, including AWS Bedrock
  • Automate deployments using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
  • Ensure cloud governance and security, including regulatory requirements (GDPR, ISMS, BaFin)
  • Support technical assessments (PenTests or security audits)
  • Develop knowledge transfer within the team and establish "best practices"
  • Potential participation in on-call duties in the future

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in how the AWS cloud works, including multi-account management and cross-account security
  • Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS) and Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
  • Confident handling of account setup, Identity Center and IAM
  • Good knowledge of VPCs, network topologies, Direct Connect, Route53, MSK (Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka) and RDS
  • Fluent German (C1) and good English skills (B2)
  • Experience in cloud security is an advantage, or willingness to develop expertise in this area
  • Ability to quickly grasp, analyze and derive measures for complex topics
  • Appreciative and open communication style
  • Solution-oriented approach to challenges and change
