About the role

  • Develop and optimize high-quality software components based on Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka across the entire software lifecycle
  • Design modern, scalable microservices
  • Further develop and implement automated module and integration tests
  • Support business units in designing efficient processes and translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Design technical architectures together with application architects
  • Exchange knowledge and contribute to technical communities

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent qualification
  • Experience as a backend developer in a microservices environment
  • Familiarity with Java and the Spring ecosystem, especially Spring Boot
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka
  • Strong database skills, particularly PostgreSQL
  • Fluent German (C1) and solid English (B2)
  • Enjoy working in agile teams
  • Solution-oriented, independent working style
  • Interest in personal development and new technologies
