About the role
- Planning, installation, administration, operation, and monitoring of relational database management systems (RDBMS)
- Problem and error analysis of DBMS systems
- Continuous optimization, automation, and performance analysis of DBMS environments
- Development of standards and guidelines, and contribution to the further development of the service portfolio
- Setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of relational DBMS
- Oracle system updates and migrations
- PostgreSQL system updates and migrations
- The administrator is responsible for the operation of systems.
- Participation in the planning, design, implementation, and operation of complex systems
- Handling and execution of complex tasks
- Installation and maintenance of tools
- Contribution to the development and planning of service concepts
- Support in ensuring the agreed service levels
- Creation of system documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or completed vocational training with equivalent professional experience
- At least three years of professional experience, including at least one year in IT administration
- Operational experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL systems
- Administration experience in Linux Red Hat is required
- Strong customer-oriented thinking and behavior

- Analytical, systematic, and structured working style
- High analytical and conceptual thinking ability
- High flexibility, resilience, and willingness to perform
- Good communication skills
- Broad and solid technical understanding

- Very good knowledge of German OR English
- Suitability for on-call duty
- Willingness to work on weekends
