About the role
- Responsible for HR and finance topics in a growing startup
- Build and further develop simple, scalable HR and finance structures
- Budget planning, cash flow monitoring and ongoing cost and liquidity management
- Prepare reports, forecasts and decision-making materials for management
- Operational execution of recruiting, onboarding, personnel administration and payroll
- Collaborate with tax advisor, payroll provider and external partners
- Point of contact for the team on all HR and administrative matters and maintenance of the HR tool
- Support growth (hiring, processes, culture)
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance or a comparable vocational qualification with relevant professional experience
- At least 5 years of practical experience, primarily in finance, controlling or operations — ideally in a startup or SME environment
- Several additional years of hands-on HR experience, having managed both areas in a comparable, responsible role
- Solid understanding of labor law, payroll and basic finance
- Enjoys hands-on work and building things from the ground up
- Structured, pragmatic and independent working style
- Entrepreneurial mindset, high trustworthiness and discretion
- Strong communication skills in German and English
