About the role
- Responsibility for HR and finance topics in a growing startup
- Build and develop simple, scalable HR and finance structures
- Budget planning, cash-flow monitoring and ongoing expense and liquidity management
- Preparation of reports, forecasts and decision materials for management
- Operational execution of recruiting, onboarding, personnel administration and payroll
- Collaboration with tax advisor, payroll service and external partners
- Point of contact for the team on all HR and administrative questions and maintenance of the HR tool
- Support for growth (hiring, processes, culture)
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance or a comparable vocational qualification with relevant experience
- At least 5 years of practical experience, mainly in finance, controlling or operations — ideally in a startup or SME environment
- Additionally several years of operational HR experience, having supported both areas in a comparable, responsible role
- Solid understanding of labor law, payroll and basic financial principles
- Enjoyment of hands-on work and building things from the ground up
- Structured, pragmatic and self-directed working style
- Entrepreneurial mindset, high trustworthiness and discretion
- Strong communication skills in German and English
