About the role

  • Responsibility for HR and finance topics in a growing startup
  • Build and develop simple, scalable HR and finance structures
  • Budget planning, cash-flow monitoring and ongoing expense and liquidity management
  • Preparation of reports, forecasts and decision materials for management
  • Operational execution of recruiting, onboarding, personnel administration and payroll
  • Collaboration with tax advisor, payroll service and external partners
  • Point of contact for the team on all HR and administrative questions and maintenance of the HR tool
  • Support for growth (hiring, processes, culture)

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance or a comparable vocational qualification with relevant experience
  • At least 5 years of practical experience, mainly in finance, controlling or operations — ideally in a startup or SME environment
  • Additionally several years of operational HR experience, having supported both areas in a comparable, responsible role
  • Solid understanding of labor law, payroll and basic financial principles
  • Enjoyment of hands-on work and building things from the ground up
  • Structured, pragmatic and self-directed working style
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, high trustworthiness and discretion
  • Strong communication skills in German and English
