About the role

  • IT strategy development in coordination with business units and CIO/COO functions
  • Execution of major strategic projects from initiation through full implementation
  • Definition and execution of strategic initiatives with a focus on new technologies
  • Management of governance processes with an IT focus in coordination with central and control functions, taking relevant regulation into account
  • Post-Merger Integration (PMI) processes and implementation with an IT focus
  • Management of ESG-related initiatives relevant to IT
  • First-line management of DBAG’s Material Change Process
  • Preparation of executive decision-making processes, including board-level presentations
  • Coordination of cultural and communication initiatives in cooperation with the central communications department
  • Conducting IT benchmarking assessments
  • Acting as a central point of contact for the IT organization

Requirements

  • Academic degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field (master’s degree a plus)
  • Background in consulting or financial services with relevant project experience
  • Good knowledge of new technologies with initial experience in data science, AI use cases, AI governance, and their business impact
  • Proven track record in project work with a focus on solution- and result-orientation
  • Experience with IT-related target operating models, processes, and operations
  • Strong analytical skills, structured working methods, and confident handling of financial topics
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting to executive boards and senior management
  • Independent working style and a high sense of responsibility for delivering results
  • Solid understanding of process analysis methodologies
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
