About the role

  • Plan and define Deutsche Börse Group audit areas and perform risk assessments
  • Prepare and carry out audits and participate in Deutsche Börse Group coordinated audits
  • Identify deficiencies and improvement opportunities and develop pragmatic solutions to address issues
  • Support the preparation of audit reports and communicate results to responsible line management in the audited areas
  • Follow up on audits and recommendations
  • Support line management and projects by providing audit-related consultancy in proposing and implementing appropriate internal controls
  • Actively contribute to shaping the audit methodology and processes and support risk-based audit planning

Requirements

  • University degree in economics, business administration, banking, law or a related field
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience
  • Proven knowledge of internal audit processes; professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CRMA) are a plus
  • Knowledge of Deutsche Börse Group business, processes and systems is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills, methodological expertise and conceptual understanding
  • Initiative, ability to work independently and a goal-oriented approach
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • High proficiency in both written and spoken English; German language skills are an asset
