About the role
- Preparation and review of VAT returns, recapitulative statements (EC Sales Lists) and annual VAT returns
- Strategic involvement in year-end closing processes and tax audits
- Point of contact for complex VAT matters
Requirements
- University degree with a focus on taxation or finance
- Successfully passed the German Steuerberater (tax advisor) examination
- More than 5 years' professional experience in VAT
- Deep knowledge of ERP systems and VAT compliance tools
- Strategic thinking skills
- Business-fluent German and English
