About the role
- Lead end-to-end SAP RAR implementations, ensuring compliance with IFRS 15 / ASC 606
- Architect and configure RAR components including Performance Obligations, Fulfillment Events, Revenue Schedules, RAIs, and Transaction Price Allocations
- Integrate RAR with SAP FI and SD modules for accurate financial reporting
- Provide expert-level consulting on SSP, transaction price allocation, revenue amortization, and lifecycle calculations of RAIs
- Analyze and optimize revenue recognition processes, identifying automation opportunities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable SAP RAR solutions
- Utilize SAP BRF+ and other advanced SAP technologies to enhance rule-based automation
- Lead functional discussions with key users and stakeholders
- Manage support activities including incident resolution and change requests
- Conduct root cause analysis, propose solutions, and ensure smooth deployment aligned with client governance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments
Requirements
- 10+ years of SAP experience
- 5+ years specializing in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR)
- Demonstrated expertise in implementing and optimizing RAR solutions aligned with IFRS 15 / ASC 606 standards
- Proven ability to lead complex projects, drive innovation, and deliver measurable business outcomes in Finance IT environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience in Banking/Financial Services preferred
