About the role
- Delivers housing-focused case management services to families at risk of homelessness.
- Utilizes partnerships with schools and churches to provide critical support.
- Conducts assessments to determine financial hardship and eligibility for services.
- Gathers documentation to support financial assistance disbursement.
- Coordinates with families to develop housing stability plans.
- Manages a caseload of school- and church-referred clients.
- Navigates sensitive conversations with clients and community partners.
- Maintains documentation in DRM’s case management system and HMIS.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; bachelor's in human services, education, or a related field preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience working with underserved or low-income populations.
- Experience in school, church, or family-centered service environments preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Must meet all background check requirements applicable to working within any Colorado school district.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently throughout the community.
- Driving history must meet minimum requirements under DRM’s Driving policy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize independently.
- High attention to detail, particularly in documentation and compliance.
- Flexibility to adapt to varied work schedules, including occasional early mornings or evenings.
- Must be a Christian who affirms the beliefs set forth in the Statement of Faith, demonstrated through personal testimony and Christian conduct.
