About the role

  • Delivers housing-focused case management services to families at risk of homelessness.
  • Utilizes partnerships with schools and churches to provide critical support.
  • Conducts assessments to determine financial hardship and eligibility for services.
  • Gathers documentation to support financial assistance disbursement.
  • Coordinates with families to develop housing stability plans.
  • Manages a caseload of school- and church-referred clients.
  • Navigates sensitive conversations with clients and community partners.
  • Maintains documentation in DRM’s case management system and HMIS.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; bachelor's in human services, education, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with underserved or low-income populations.
  • Experience in school, church, or family-centered service environments preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Must meet all background check requirements applicable to working within any Colorado school district.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently throughout the community.
  • Driving history must meet minimum requirements under DRM’s Driving policy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize independently.
  • High attention to detail, particularly in documentation and compliance.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varied work schedules, including occasional early mornings or evenings.
  • Must be a Christian who affirms the beliefs set forth in the Statement of Faith, demonstrated through personal testimony and Christian conduct.
