Write clear, original copy for digital channels, web, paid social, email, and sometimes long-form content, SEO, and video scripts.
Self-edit and revise copy in response to internal feedback and client feedback.
Work in partnership with Creative Directors, Strategists, Art Directors, and UX designers around the globe to develop concepts.
Participate in creative brainstorms, internal kickoff meetings, and client briefings.
Own copy through the development stage to completion for every project, ensuring the copy resonates with the audience, elevates the experience, and follows the brief.
Learn and follow brand copy styles and guidelines.
Demonstrate attention to detail.
Research and understand clients' products and services, target audiences, and competitors' activities.
Present concepts and copy to Creative Directors, account teams, and clients with the ability to articulate the rationale for voice, tone, and writing decisions.
Follow and share current trends and best practices and have a passion for your craft.
Work remotely and be available during work hours.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in copywriting (agency experience is a plus)
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Advertising, Marketing or a related university program; in lieu of degree, equivalent experience in a relevant field required
Fluency with Microsoft Office (some experience with Figma is a plus)
Outstanding communication, collaboration, presentation, and copywriting skills
Portfolio of current copywriting experience
