About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Content Development
  • Day-to-day content publishing and community management across Discord, Reddit, and Telegram.
  • Platform-native copywriting that fits each channel's voice and community norms
  • Asset adaptation and quick-turn content production using Canva, Adobe Express, or similar
  • Resize and adapt static assets from Instagram and Reddit for use across community platforms, ensuring all assets meet brand standards, including approved fonts, color usage, logo placement, and safe zone guidelines.
  • Performance tracking and monthly insights with proactive trend and opportunity calls
  • Direct participation in client meetings as a platform and community expert
  • Escalation of emerging issues, risks, and opportunities before they become problem. Reporting and Insights
  • Track and analyze content performance metrics and apply insights to inform future content decisions.
  • Deliver regular performance updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and share at least one proactive engagement opportunity or trend recommendation per month.
  • Stakeholder and Team Collaboration
  • Participate in client-facing meetings and contribute recommendations and platform expertise.
  • Collaborate with creative teams on asset development and ensure all content is reviewed before publishing.
  • Stay current on platform updates, algorithm changes, and sports betting content trends; share knowledge with the broader team as needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years in social media or community management, with real hands-on time on Discord, Reddit, and/or Telegram
  • A genuine sports fan. You follow all the major sports closely, you understand fan culture, and you know how sports communities operate online
  • Comfortable managing a high-volume, multi-platform content cadence without dropping quality
  • A strong writer who can shift from hype to informational to conversational without it sounding like three different people
  • Detail-oriented on brand standards and compliance, especially in regulated content environments
  • Experienced with tools like Sprinklr, Hootsuite, or Khoros
  • Self-directed and organized in a remote, async-first environment
  • You are comfortable using tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut, or similar for quick-turn content creation. You are detail-oriented and brand-aware, with an understanding of visual guidelines and content best practices.
  • A portfolio or examples of past content creation work is considered an asset.
