About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to project initiatives and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Mentor and support engineers as they grow in their careers.
- Partner with stakeholders—Product, Data, Design, and Engineering teams—to solve technical challenges and support data infrastructure.
- Create monthly data assets and enhance processes to effectively leverage these resources in meeting client requirements.
- Coordinate with other teams to ensure seamless data sharing.
- Communicate clearly and document processes for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Work within dentsu’s Snowflake-based data platform and explore effective solutions for evolving requirements.
- Use Agile practices and AI tools to deliver features efficiently.
- Apply best practices throughout the development lifecycle: design, implement, test, review, and deploy using CI/CD.
- Participate in quality assurance, automated testing, and on-call support.
- Help onboard clients and collaborate with client solution teams.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and innovative team culture.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of software development experience
- Expertise in Python
- Experience with Snowflake, including data modeling, querying, pipeline development and data workflows (Snowflake streams/tasks)
- Strong understanding of database fundamentals, SQL, and relational/non-relational data models
- Familiarity with Agile development, version control (Git, Bitbucket), and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of containerized environments (Snowpark preferred; Docker is a plus)
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP also welcome)
- Unix command line and Bash scripting skills are a plus.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems—or equivalent experience.
