About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute to project initiatives and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Mentor and support engineers as they grow in their careers.
  • Partner with stakeholders—Product, Data, Design, and Engineering teams—to solve technical challenges and support data infrastructure.
  • Create monthly data assets and enhance processes to effectively leverage these resources in meeting client requirements.
  • Coordinate with other teams to ensure seamless data sharing.
  • Communicate clearly and document processes for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Work within dentsu’s Snowflake-based data platform and explore effective solutions for evolving requirements.
  • Use Agile practices and AI tools to deliver features efficiently.
  • Apply best practices throughout the development lifecycle: design, implement, test, review, and deploy using CI/CD.
  • Participate in quality assurance, automated testing, and on-call support.
  • Help onboard clients and collaborate with client solution teams.
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and innovative team culture.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years of software development experience
  • Expertise in Python
  • Experience with Snowflake, including data modeling, querying, pipeline development and data workflows (Snowflake streams/tasks)
  • Strong understanding of database fundamentals, SQL, and relational/non-relational data models
  • Familiarity with Agile development, version control (Git, Bitbucket), and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of containerized environments (Snowpark preferred; Docker is a plus)
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP also welcome)
  • Unix command line and Bash scripting skills are a plus.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems—or equivalent experience.
