About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain frontend features for our iOS and Android mobile applications
Implement and extend multilingual (DE/FR/IT/EN) user interfaces using internationalisation (i18n) frameworks and localisation best practices
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, accessible components
Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews
Optimise application performance across devices and screen sizes, with a focus on Swiss banking security standards
Contribute to the shared component library and design system used across all Raiffeisen digital products
Work in an agile team using Scrum/Kanban, participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos
Coordinate with backend teams to design and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs
Monitor, debug, and resolve issues in production, ensuring high availability and user satisfaction
Stay up to date with emerging frontend technologies and champion best practices within the team

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of professional experience in frontend or mobile development
Proficiency in React Native for cross-platform iOS and Android development
Strong command of TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience with React.js or a comparable modern web framework (Vue, Angular)
Solid understanding of iOS and Android platform guidelines (HIG / Material Design)
Practical experience with i18n/l10n libraries (e.g. i18next, react-intl, FormatJS)
Familiarity with state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, MobX, or similar)
Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA)
