About the role
- Lead and manage large-scale digital and technically driven projects/programs across multiple regions and time zones, including coordination with external partners.
- Ensure consistently high-quality delivery within agreed timeframes and budget, including responsibility for project budgets, operational efficiency, and achieving profitability targets.
- Apply agile and traditional project management methods and tools, tailored to individual project requirements and aligned with company standards.
- Provide regular, comprehensive reporting to management and operational stakeholders on relevant metrics and project results.
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships at mid- and senior-management levels, including effective expectation management and conflict resolution.
- Proactively identify and capitalize on business opportunities within existing client projects (up‑selling/cross‑selling).
- Work closely with Solution Architects, Business Development teams, and global delivery centers to align strategy and implement client solutions.
- Actively contribute to commercial proposals and pitches, demonstrating deep understanding of and convincingly presenting the company’s services.
- Participate in internal delivery management initiatives and strategic activities.
- Support and promote organizational change, best practices, and innovation in project management.
Requirements
- Relevant professional experience (8+ years) in senior project, delivery, or program management roles within a digital consulting environment.
- Strong affinity for web technologies and digital products.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and a confident presence in a variety of contexts, including complex or conflict-prone situations.
- Analytical, strategic, and solution-oriented mindset with a clear understanding of business dynamics.
- Proven experience in successfully leading and managing international teams across multiple digital projects and locations.
- Solid knowledge of agile approaches (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and traditional project management methods, with the ability to coach and mentor others in these areas.
- University degree (or equivalent) and very good German and English language skills.
