  • Create comprehensive technical specifications, deployment guides, training materials, and system architecture documentation
  • Lead and participate in design reviews and code reviews to maintain high development standards
  • Partner with cross-functional Promotions and Loyalty teams to deliver robust technical solutions
  • Work directly with internal and external clients to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Enhance and maintain our loyalty platforms while developing new features and custom client solutions
  • Design efficient data models and optimize database queries in MySQL
  • Contribute to best practices development and workflow improvements across the engineering organization

Requirements

  • 2+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise-class web applications
  • Deep expertise in Ruby, Rails, and SQL (MySQL) with a focus on scalable solution development
  • Proficiency with version control systems (Git)
  • Hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies and iterative project management
  • Strong background in automated testing, system integration, database programming, web development, and cloud technologies
  • AWS experience (strongly preferred)
  • Additional languages/frameworks : Java/Spring Boot, Node.js (preferred)
  • Database technologies : Redis experience (preferred)
  • Frontend development : CSS, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks (preferred)
  • Testing expertise : Unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development practices (preferred)
