About the role
- Design and develop cloud-based solutions involving interconnected ML inference and training systems
- Write robust, production-quality code that advances Merkle engineering solutions
- Solve intricate engineering problems to enable data scientists to deliver production-ready applications
- Automate CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools and frameworks
- Collaborate with a diverse team of 10+ data scientists and engineers across organizational boundaries
- Spearhead creation of scalable AI innovations with foundation and infrastructure partners
- Work on high-visibility LLM and GenAI projects for Dentsu and Merkle customers; report to Innovation Lead
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years industry experience in software design, development, and algorithmic solutions
- 5+ years programming with Python; experience with Java, C/C++ preferred
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and API design principles
- Working knowledge of machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, search, or statistics
- Ability to diagnose technical issues, debug code, and automate routine tasks
- Experience building distributed internet-scale systems and machine learning infrastructure
