About the role
- Advise Fortune 500 clients on partnership strategy, activation, rightsholder management, and measurement
- Develop sports and entertainment programs and manage integrated brand marketing and activation campaigns
- Lead a skilled team of marketers, inspire work and cultivate careers
- Establish relationships with client leaders and grow revenue
- Collaborate with sanctioning bodies and rightsholders to develop marketing partnerships
- Write and develop POV and client-ready documents
- Negotiate with rightsholders on behalf of clients and secure agreements
- Contribute to new business ideation and presentations
- Hybrid role based in Charlotte, NC with 50% travel required
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience directly working on high profile sponsorship programs involving properties such as the NFL, NASCAR, NBA, MLS, PGA TOUR, NHL
- 8+ years of experience leading a team and contributing to internal activities (team building, events, off-sites)
- Understand the sponsorship industry and experience working on high-profile sponsorship programs involving properties such as the NASCAR, NBA, MLS, PGA TOUR, NHL, USOC, and MLB
- Knowledge of and experience with the full marketing mix, social media, content marketing, influencer approaches, and marketing promotions
- Ability to develop client solutions and present to senior client leaders
- Establish high-level relationships with client leaders and grow revenue through cross-selling
- Collaborate with sanctioning bodies and rightsholders and negotiate local, national, and global agreements
- Contribute to new business activities including ideation, presentation writing and delivery
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
