About the role
- Prepare, draft and review business valuation reports
- Perform financial modeling
- Conduct financial research
- Read and interpret available legal and financial documents
- Apply creative problem-solving to financial issues
- Contribute to the preparation of service proposals, budgets and client presentations
- Help develop work tools and models and advance the business valuation practice
- Build and maintain a network of business contacts to support service line business development
- Participate in improving internal processes
- Collaborate on buy–sell mandates, due diligence and corporate financing engagements
- Support and coach team professionals
Requirements
- University degree in accounting (CPA designation an asset)
- EEE designation
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience (experience in a firm and/or the financial sector is an asset)
- Excellent command of commonly used IT and accounting applications
- Bilingualism required with strong verbal and written communication skills
