About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Operation, development and hardening of our network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, uplinks)
Design and implementation of complex network architectures for highly available setups (e.g., distributed sites and availability zones, EVPN)
Integration of cloud connections and evolution of hybrid infrastructures
Automation and standardization (Infrastructure as Code with Ansible and Terraform)
Operation of security and firewall solutions (including FortiGate)
Analysis and resolution of incidents and continuous optimization

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid networking knowledge and practical experience in network design and operations (preferably across OSI layers, routing & switching)
Experience with at least one of the following vendors: Juniper (JunOS), Dell (DNOS), Cisco, Fortinet or equivalent
Good knowledge of dynamic routing: BGP (ideally full-table routing), OSPF
Experience with firewalls and VPN
Confident customer-facing manner and experience coordinating service providers
Experience in procurement and purchasing of network equipment
Experience with network services and related systems (e.g., Linux-based services, infrastructure components)
Expertise or strong interest in: automation (Ansible, Terraform), Software-Defined Networking (SDN), cloud network integrations
