About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Technically design solutions in collaboration with the internal team's analyst-developers;
Implement developments according to the provided functional and technical specifications;
Extend the integration layer with new web services and lead the redesign toward a RESTful API architecture;
Execute unit and integration tests to ensure the quality of developments;
Provide corrective maintenance and fix identified defects;
Write technical documentation and ensure knowledge transfer to the internal team;
Participate in Delta's development tribe, supporting and managing Delta's development initiatives;
Act as a Subject Matter Expert to support other colleagues when technical expertise is required.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 5 years' experience in development within an SAP environment, ideally on ECC 6 EHP8
Proficient in ABAP and ABAP Objects (ABAP OO), and experienced with ABAP Workbench and Data Dictionary
Develop and maintain Reports, Interactive Reports and dialog applications (classic Dynpros)
Implement SAP standard extension mechanisms, including the Enhancement Framework, BAdIs and User Exits
Design and implement SOAP and REST web services using ABAP proxies
Ensure SAP application integration via RFC, BAPIs and other interfacing mechanisms
Apply SAP authorization and security concepts in developed solutions
Analyze technical requirements and propose robust, maintainable solutions within the SAP environment
Hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
Fluency in English and French is required; an additional language is considered an asset
