About the role

  • Analyze business requests to understand and meet user needs
  • Participate in aligning IT strategy with business objectives, working closely with business teams, functional analysts, architects, IT and security experts to design high-performance, flexible, robust, and secure solutions.
  • Analyze business requests to understand and address users' functional and technical requirements, model functional and technical processes, and contribute to writing high-quality specifications.
  • Design, develop, configure, then monitor and maintain innovative software solutions and services that meet the needs of internal and external clients, leveraging the PC Soft development framework (WinDev / WinDev Mobile / WebDev).
  • Use and develop the current technical and graphical standards, and contribute to the evolution of detailed technical and functional documentation to ensure solution longevity.
  • Validate test plans, participate in testing phases, and ensure the quality of deliverables.
  • Provide level 3 technical support for the relevant functional areas, including technical configuration of applications.
  • Participate in Delta's development tribe, supporting and managing initiatives related to Delta's development activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role combining functional analysis and development.
  • Strong expertise in WinDev, WebDev, and WinDev Mobile environments, with the ability to design and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
  • Prior experience in the supply chain domain and knowledge of WMS solutions (such as Reflex, LFS, SAP WMS, etc.) is a significant advantage.
  • Good knowledge of IT infrastructure (firewall, DNS, certificates, SSO, MFA, Windows Server, IIS) and excellent command of SQL and T-SQL, applied to the design, optimization, and administration of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with Cloud environments (Amazon RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL), REST APIs, and CI/CD practices is appreciated.
  • Experience working within a project management framework, in Agile methodology or the V-model.
  • Degree in computer science or a related field.
  • English and French are mandatory; proficiency in Luxembourgish and German is a plus.
