About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, mobilise, oversee, and in some cases deliver strategic, operational, tactical, and investigative intelligence outputs
- Translate client requirements into workable delivery models
- Define intelligence methodologies and design training pathways
- Support deployment of intelligence professionals into client environments
- Support collection of real-time information and investigate the threat landscape
- Identify online risks, reputational risks, criminal behaviour, trends, early-warning indicators, narratives, and sentiment
- Design delivery models, workflows, SOPs, and governance frameworks
- Hire, coach, or train intelligence professionals
- Work with senior clients and internal stakeholders
- Translate broad client issues into structured intelligence tasks
- Support proposals, commercial bids, or statements of work
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong background in intelligence practice, ideally gained in government, law enforcement, defence, or a related intelligence function
- Strong understanding of the intelligence cycle, intelligence requirements, and structured analytical methodologies
- Experience with source evaluation, information reliability, and evidential standards
- Experience supporting real-time information collection and threat-landscape investigations
- Ability to design delivery models, workflows, SOPs, and governance frameworks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience hiring, coaching, or training intelligence professionals
- Ability to work with senior clients and internal stakeholders
- Knowledge of secure working practices and information handling
- Ability to work in ambiguity and translate broad client issues into structured intelligence tasks
- Master's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or intelligence-related certifications
- Experience designing intelligence processes
- Experience identifying and countering online misinformation and disinformation narratives
- Experience delivering or supporting strategic communications campaigns and/or policy-focused research
- Meticulous attention to detail and focus on quality and risk management
- Proactive problem-solving ability and ability to identify, manage, and escalate issues
- Professional project management qualification
- Professional and confident communication style and ability to build stakeholder relationships
- Ability to speak additional languages
- Experience designing managed-service or operate-style delivery models
- Security clearance
- Knowledge of UK government, policing, regulatory, or financial-services environments
- Familiarity with OSINT tooling, due-diligence platforms, case-management tools, workflow systems, or intelligence databases
