About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, train, manage, and develop the payroll team
- Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing across weekly, fortnightly, and monthly cycles
- Ensure compliance with legislation and internal policies
- Act as the primary client contact and provide proactive support
- Resolve complex payroll issues and escalations

Requirements
What you’ll need- Recognised payroll qualification such as IPASS or equivalent
- Extensive experience managing end-to-end payroll processes across weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll cycles
- Experience managing diverse client portfolios
- Proven ability to manage, develop, and motivate a high-performing payroll team
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Ability to handle complex payroll issues and escalations confidently
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Adaptability to evolving payroll legislation, technology, and best practices
- Proactive approach to continuous learning and process improvement
