About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and implement credit risk management solutions
  • Conduct modelling, independent reviews, and validation of credit risk models (PD, LGD, EAD etc.)
  • Advise on credit risk policies and frameworks
  • Contribute to regulatory compliance projects (CRR/CRD IV and IFRS9)
  • Deliver high-quality services to clients, leveraging your knowledge and communication skills
  • Develop and present cohesive conclusions on report findings to clients
  • Assist clients in preparing for Regulatory Reporting (COREP, FINREP etc.)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Enrolled in a Master’s degree in quantitative finance, mathematics, econometrics, risk or a related field
  • Passionate about working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Foundational understanding of regulatory frameworks (Basel III/CRD IV, BRRD)
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint; fluent in English for professional contexts
  • Previous internship experience in the financial sector, ideally in financial risk management (Nice to have)
  • Practical exposure to applying Basel III/CRD IV or BRRD concepts in academic or project work (Nice to have)
  • Experience working in team-based quantitative or risk-related projects (Nice to have)
  • Demonstrated ability to explain complex analytical findings to non-specialists (Nice to have)
  • Knowledge of additional tools or languages (e.g. VBA, Python, R) relevant to quantitative or risk analysis (Nice to have)
