About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead responses to specific areas of year-end audit queries
Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and reviews
Investigate and resolve discrepancies across property-related accounts
Liaise with internal stakeholders to validate financial data
Process documentation, including identification of improvement areas and controls

Requirements

What you’ll need

Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
Managing External Audit and Internal Audit processes and stakeholders
Proven experience within property management or real estate finance
Advanced Excel user with ability to quickly and accurately analyse large data sets from multiple sources
Strong balance sheet reconciliation and review experience
Hands-on knowledge of Horizon and/or Agresso (nice-to-have)
Ability to work independently and deliver to tight deadlines
Ability to work in a complex environment
Works well under pressure
Forensic approach to investigating
Attention to detail
General ledger Accounting (nice-to-have)
VAT experience (nice-to-have)
