About the role

  • Configure and maintain master data and lab solutions within the LIMS environment.
  • Data migration, testing, validation, and bulk data transfers using tools such as Excel or ETL solutions.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, auditing data integrity, troubleshooting issues, and escalating risks to the LIMS implementation team.
  • Successfully configure and maintain master data including item codes, product specifications, sampling plans, and instrument records to support laboratory workflows.
  • Execute data migration, testing, and validation activities to ensure accurate and compliant data transfer between environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Analytical and IS to gather requirements and implement robust data solutions aligned with business and regulatory needs.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues while maintaining compliance with industry standards such as FDA, MHRA, and ISO.

Requirements

  • Working experience configuring, migrating, and interfacing within LabWare LIMS, LabVantage LIMS, or Empower CDS applications.
  • Proven expertise in creating Crystal Reports tailored for business users.
  • Experience with LIMS system interfaces to laboratory instruments, particularly Empower CDS.
  • Strong knowledge of validated, 21 CFR Part 11 compliant computer systems.
  • Excellent verbal and technical writing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in international and intercultural teams.
  • A passion for designing elegant, user-centric solutions that empower scientists to leverage data effectively.
