About the role

  • Review corporate tax returns for Irish headquartered companies, multinationals and indigenous Irish companies
  • Quality reviews of corporate tax client deliverables including corporate tax returns, tax provisioning, tax accounting and reporting
  • Meet with clients on key tax law changes and explain impacts on tax liability and reporting/disclosure
  • Correspond with Revenue regarding Compliance Intervention Notifications
  • Interact with other Deloitte offices globally on coordinated compliance engagements
  • Research tax technical compliance matters and application of global tax developments to Irish companies
  • Contribute to tax technology and tax transformation projects and design future compliance processes
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and refer to other tax departments or wider firm
  • Assist with strategic direction and evolution of the Global Delivery Service Model
  • Support Corporate Tax Compliance Centre Directors and Partner in management and strategic activities
  • Mentor, coach and motivate onshore and offshore trainees and assist with training programmes
  • Manage and oversee working capital management objectives and other key metrics

Requirements

  • Qualified CTA or CTC
  • Proven record for service excellence

  • Excellent project management/organisational, technical and analytical skills
  • Experience mentoring, coaching and participating in performance appraisal processes
  • Ability to interact with global offices and correspond with Revenue
