About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using Terraform.
Automate the provisioning and management of resources in Microsoft Azure.
Collaborate with architects and development teams to define and implement infrastructure solutions.
Ensure infrastructure code adheres to best practices, organizational standards, and security requirements.
Perform code reviews and provide technical feedback to the team.
Identify and troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure code, deployments, and runtime environments.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure.
Use DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Git, VS Code, Jira, and WebEx.
Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for stability, performance, cost, and security.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams.
Stay up to date with new Azure services, features, and best practices.
Use GitHub Copilot effectively for code generation, debugging, refactoring, and creating unit tests.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience as an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Developer or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of cloud computing and Microsoft Azure architecture.
Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Packer, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), or equivalents (Microsoft Bicep, AWS CloudFormation).
Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
Solid knowledge of at least one high-level programming language (Python or Groovy).
Solid knowledge of at least one scripting language (Bash, PowerShell, or JavaScript).
Experience with DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, Ansible, or equivalents).
Knowledge of networking, security, and identity management in Azure.
Understanding of TCP/IP and firewall rules.
Experience with Agile methodology.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
